Join Sove Lavi in Providing Clean Water for Haiti

Imagine waking up in the morning and having no water to brush your teeth, wash your face, take a shower, or make a cup of coffee.

Imagine your children walking hours a day to fetch water for your family, a job that prevents these children from going to school.

Imagine the water they have access to being so contaminated that a child would die every 15 seconds in third world countries because of water-borne disease.

Imagine that the water they use to drink and bathe is water so dirty and muddy that you can’t see your hand or foot when you dip your body into it.

Imagine that one billion people in third world countries experience the horrors of this daily.

Now, breathe, relax, and imagine that there is a solution to this worldwide water problem. The solution is wells that give families easy access to water, and water filtration systems that give families clean water and the opportunity to live.

Please join Sove Lavi in bringing clean water to the poor of Haiti. Over the past 5 years, Sove Lavi has distributed 600 home water filtration units with the help of Gift of Water that has brought clean water to 6,000 people in Haiti, and we have drilled one well with the help of the Rotary of Ancaster Canada that brings easy access to water to 2,000 residents.

Our plans are to distribute an additional 1,400 home water filtration units and drill an additional 19 wells in the next four years, providing a complete clean water system to 25,000 residents.

Your donation will go directly to this clean water initiative:

  • A gift of $5,000 will support the drilling of one well, bringing easy access to water for 1,000 people.
  • A gift of $500 will support the salary of one Water Technician.
  • A gift of $100 will bring clean water to 25 people, or approximately 2 families.
  • A gift of $25 will bring clean water to 5 people for the remainder of their lives!
